Classes Canceled Tuesday At Westport Public Schools
An overnight snow storm is expected to sweep through Connecticut.
WESTPORT, CT — Westport Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 13, due to the inclement weather expected to sweep through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.
Additionally, a forum on addressing antisemitism in the school system is also being rescheduled.
"Given the impending volatile forecast for the region tomorrow, the event at Temple Israel tomorrow evening, 'Addressing Incidents of Antisemitism and Bias in our Schools,' will be rescheduled to March 13 at 7:30pm," wrote Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice in a release. "Rescheduling the event will also avoid the conflict with 'Transition Night' for rising 9th grade families at Staples, as this event will now move to Thursday, February 15. Look for more information and reminders about the March 13 Temple Israel event in coming weeks."
