Clothing Store 2nd Street Coming To Westport: Report

The second-hand retailer has reportedly leased space on Main Street in downtown Westport.

WESTPORT, CT — 2nd Street, a second-hand clothing store, has leased space at 17 Main St. in downtown Westport, and plans to open in the fall, one of two Connecticut stores the chain plans to open, The Hour reported.

The company's second Connecticut shop will be in New Haven, in space that previously held an L.L. Bean store at 272 Elm St. 2nd Street has more than 30 stores around the country.

"We have unique items that can’t be found just anywhere," the company's website reads. "To keep you on-trend and always in something new, new items are regularly added to our inventory from both US and Japan."

While a specific date has not been announced, 2nd Street's Westport store, which is in space that previously held The Loft, is expected to open before the one in New Haven.
