In a news release, Police Lt. Dave Wolf said officers determined the woman was picking up an order from Golden Pizza when she noticed a person enter her unlocked car while she was inside the restaurant.

As she tried to intervene, the woman suffered a head injury and was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment, Wolf said.

An 18-year-old man and two juveniles were later arrested on charges in connection to the incident following a car chase along Interstate 95 that ended in Bridgeport. Wolf said police are still looking to recover the stolen Hyundai and identify and arrest the person who stole it.
