Crack Sealing Begins on Westport Roadways
The town asks that motorists follow the directions of the traffic control personnel at the work zones.

WESTPORT, CT — The town's Department of Public Works has begun the annual Roadway Crack Seal Program, according to officials.
The work, which began today, Aug. 5, will be done daily for one week, and crews will perform the maintenance on approximately eight to 10 miles of various roadways throughout Westport.
"Traffic will not be detoured, but alternating one-way traffic flow will be used to route traffic around this continually moving work zone," said town officials in a statement. "The roadways will be open for two-way traffic as the work crew progresses."
