A Day of Waterfront Fun for the Whole Family
Swim Across the Sound returns Saturday, Aug. 1, with live entertainment, family activities, shopping and more at Captain's Cove Seaport.
Looking for a fun way to spend a summer afternoon? Make plans to visit Captain's Cove Seaport in Bridgeport on Saturday, Aug. 1, for the exciting finish of Hartford HealthCare's Swim Across the Sound.
The waterfront will come alive with live music, entertainment, shopping, delicious food and a children's activity area, offering something for visitors of all ages. It's the perfect place to spend time with family and friends while cheering on the inspiring swimmers as they complete their journey across Long Island Sound. The first swimmers are expected to cross the finish line around 2:30 p.m., weather permitting.
In addition to the festivities, guests can celebrate the determination of the swimmers, whose efforts help support cancer patients and their families through Swim Across the Sound.
