Westport Public Schools administrators have decided to delay the opening of schools for two hours on Thursday.

New Canaan and Darien schools have announced that the schools won’t open Thursday, and Norwalk Public Schools announced a two-hour delay, but that decision was to be reassessed at 6:15 a.m. for possible closure, that school district announced.

Public schools are closed in Fairfield, the district announced, and in Weston, as in Norwalk, school district officials said they were opening schools two hours late but added that they would reassess the situation and make another announcement before 7 a.m. if schools were to be closed.
