Delayed Opening Dec. 11 For Westport Public Schools, GFA

WESTPORT, CT — Westport Public Schools, and the private Greens Farms Academy, will open on a three-hour delayed schedule on Wednesday, Dec. 11, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.

"The Westport Public Schools will be delayed by 3 hours, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019," officials said. "All schools will open 3 hours later than normal and all buses will be running 3 hours later than normal. Added GFA officials, "Consistent with the Westport public schools and busing, Greens Farms Academy will have a three-hour delay this morning. Please drive safely."
