Detour Announced For Greens Farms Road Paving In Westport
Police will manage the traffic control in the area during the detour, which is scheduled for this week.
WESTPORT, CT — An overnight detour will take place on Greens Farms Road in Westport from Tuesday evening to Friday morning, according to town officials.
According to a news release, the state Department of Transportation has advised town officials of the detour, which will take place on Greens Farms Road between Morningside Drive South and Clapboard Hill Road.
The detour will allow for paving associated with the Beachside Avenue Bridge construction project to take place.

Here are the hours of the the detour:
- Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Police will manage traffic control in the area. Drivers are asked to drive with additional caution, allow extra travel time and obey all detour and safety signals.
