Door Kicked In During Westport Dispute: PD

A woman was charged with burglary after she kicked in a door during a domestic dispute, police said.

WESTPORT, CT — A Stamford woman was charged with burglarizing a residence during a domestic dispute Dec. 17, according to police.

Kenoya Dennis, 38, kicked in the front door of a residence after unsuccessfully trying to gain entry to a residence via an unlocked window, police said.

Dennis then screamed at the victim and threatened physical harm, police said. She was located later in the morning in Stamford and turned over to Westport police.

Dennis was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief. She was released on a $10,000 bond.
