WESTPORT, CT — A large, fallen tree blocked a portion of Easton Road in Westport Monday morning, resulting in it temporary closure, according to Westport police.

The road was closed near North Avenue, police said, and it could take "an extended time" to clear the road for traffic. No word on when the road will be reopened.
