Driver Injured After Crashing Vehicle Into Car Dealership In Westport: Police

The Monday crash occurred at Keeler Toyota of Westport on the Post Road East, according to authorities.

WESTPORT, CT — A driver suffered "minor, non-life-threatening injuries" Monday morning after crashing a vehicle into the Keeler Toyota of Westport car dealership at 777 Post Road East in Westport, according to police.

The one-vehicle crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m., Lt. Anthony Prezioso told Patch.

"It appeared the vehicle had been traveling too fast for the rainy conditions and the operator lost control, coming to final rest after striking the building," Prezioso said. "Damage to the structure was minor and mostly to the front façade and to a support column. This damage was evaluated by the town’s building inspector as a precaution."
