Westport kids can find out for themselves what children did for fun 100 years ago, before we had Wii, during an action-packed stay-cation program next month at the WHS. The old-fashioned fun and games will run Monday, April 16, though Thursday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids 5 to 11 years old will get to play April fools jokes, learn how to make rag critters and create kaleidoscopes, pinwheels and their own pocket toys.They will also play blindman’s bluff, marbles, hand shadows, hop-scotch and jump rope and dunk for apples. There will also be playacting, drama and outdoor games, gardening, baking and yoga.Enrollment is limited, so don’t delay if you want to play. Call 203-222-1424 to reserve your spot.
