Fairfield 2019 Half Marathon: Westport PD Issues Traffic Advisory
A portion of the 2019 Fairfield Half Marathon will come through Westport this weekend, and police have issued a traffic advisory.
WESTPORT, CT — The Fairfield Half Marathon will take place Sunday morning, and a portion of the race will come through Westport.
Police said the following roads will be impacted by the race between 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., according to a press release:
- Greens Farms Road
- New Creek Road
- Beachside Avenue
"Motorists should expect heavy delays on the above mentioned streets," Lieutenant David Wolf said in a release. "Additionally, access to the Greens Farms Train Station may be limited during the height of the race."
