Firefighters Battle Fire At Hole In The Wall Gang Camp: Report

ASHFORD, CT — Firefighters from multiple area departments battled a large fire Friday at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, the summer camp facility founded by the late Paul Newman, reports NBC Connecticut.

WTNH-TV reports that no injuries have been reported.

The extent of the fire was not immediately known, but multiple buildings reportedly were on fire.

Newman, a former Westport resident who died in 2008, founded the camp in 1988 to benefit seriously ill children and their families.
