She is accused of excusing herself from the table in the restaurant and then ringing up credit card charges without him knowing. Breaking.

WESTPORT, CT — A 27-year-old New Haven woman is accused of stealing $300 from a man with whom she went out on a date at a Westport restaurant in August, according to Westport police.
The man, whose identity was not released, and a woman who said her name was "Sophie" went on a dinner date at Finalmente Trattoria, 165 Post Road East, on Aug. 17. Sophie was later identified as Katherine Stonick.
"The victim paid for the meal, and Stonick requested a $300.00 gift card to be paid by the victim’s credit card without the victim knowing," police wrote in a statement. "Stonick reportedly excused herself from the table to use the restroom, and asked the manager to complete the gift card charge."

Apparently, Stonick really liked the food because she then returned to the restaurant the next two nights and used the gift card she purchased fraudulently with the victim’s credit card information, police said.
Once the victim realized he'd been scammed, he notified the police and was able to provide the license plate of Stonick’s vehicle, according to police. The victim was able to identify Stonick as the woman from the date after officers set up a photograph line up, and police obtained a warrant for Stonick's arrest.
