Flash Flood Warning Issued In Westport: Officials

WESTPORT, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning Tuesday for Westport, according to officials.

"Heavy rainfall has caused flooding on multiple roadways, and additional rainfall is expected," officials said.

Residents are urged to:

Avoid all unnecessary travel.

Never drive through flooded roadways.

Be alert for rapidly changing conditions and additional road closures.

Move to higher ground if flooding threatens your location.

"Emergency crews are responding to flooding throughout town," authorities said.
