Four days to go in KidsOutAndAbout's 2014 survey! Here are some preliminary category results!

There's still time to encourage your fans to vote in Fairfield County's 2014 Top 20 Places to Take Kids survey!


Our Top 20 page is the primary way new readers find out about us when they search for places to take kids in the Fairfield area... so winning a spot on this fantastic page is valuable, indeed! Here are some rankings as of 7am, June 17, 2014:

• Favorite indoor play center: Chelsea Piers CT is currently in first place, then BounceU (North Branford or Stratford),SportsCenter of CT, and Tumble Jungle.

• Favorite place to have fun outside: Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo has a serious lead at this point, followed by Town Beaches, Lake Compounce, and Mystic Seaport.

• Favorite kid-friendly museum: Stepping Stones Museum for Children is in front, then Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, and Discovery Museum and Planetarium.

• Favorite nature center: Stamford Museum and Nature Center has the lead, then Discovery Museum and Planetarium, Audubon Society, and Earthplace - The Nature Discovery Center.

• Favorite farm: Silverman's Farm has first place currently, then Gazy Brothers Farm, Jones Family Farm, Lyman Orchards, and Bishop's Orchards.

• Favorite professional sports team: Bridgeport Bluefish is in first place at this point, then Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and New Britain Rock Cats.

• Favorite performing arts venue: Downtown Cabaret Theatre holds the lead, then Westport Country Playhouse. The Palace: Stamford, and Ridgefield Playhouse.
