A Generous Garden Gift from the Westport Garden Club

Westport Garden Club Representatives Stop by Wakeman Town Farm with a Big Check!

Wakeman Town Farm, Westport, April 7

Representatives of the Westport Garden Club stopped by Wakeman Town Farm to hand-deliver a check in the amount of $5,000 to members of the Wakeman Town Farm Committee today. These funds, which were raised by the Westport Garden Club’s annual Plant Sale last May, will go towards creating perennial gardens at Wakeman Town Farm’s new Community Center, set to open this July. This year, the Westport Garden Club’s Plant Sale will take place on Friday, May 12th on the Great Lawn of Saugatuck Congregational Church. The event is open to the public.
