George Moreo, 60, Youth Soccer Coach, Sportsman, Merchandizing Executive
Visiting hours are 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 2. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday.

Mr. George Moreo, 60, of Westport, CT husband of Dorette Moreo passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 in Norwalk Hospital.
George was born on Dec. 10, 1954 in Queens, N.Y., and was the son of the late Thomas and Grace (Rotchford) Moreo.
He was a graduate of the Pratt Institute and was able to explore the world through many different opportunities. George was the Director of Visual Merchandising for Data Display Systems.

He was a resident of Westport for 24 years and in that time has been a member of Assumption Church Parish and Coached Westport Youth Soccer for many years. George was an avid boater, fisherman, a lover of all the arts, and loved the sport of volleyball. George was an amazing friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand and support when needed.
Survivors in addition to his wife Dorette of 34 years include one son; Dillon Moreo of Westport, CT, daughter; Nicole Moreo of New York, NY, one brother; Dominick Moreo of Hampton Bay, NY, three sisters; Laura Amara of Palm Beach, FL, Ellen Accardi of Garden City NY, and Grace Hamilton of Tampa FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral on Saturday Jan. 3, 2014 at 11 a.m., meeting directly at Assumption Church 98 Riverside Ave. Westport, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial.
