Harvey Weinstein Sells Remaining Westport Properties: Report
The Hollywood producer has sold his two remaining properties in Westport for $16 million.

WESTPORT, CT — Months after selling his Minute Man Hill property last fall, Hollywood film executive Harvey Weinstein has sold his two remaining properties in Westport, according to media reports. The properties were sold to town resident Andrew Bentley on Feb. 2 for $16 million.
The sale comes in the wake of a number of sexual harassment allegations leveled against Weinstein, and nearly a week before a lawsuit was filed against the Weinstein Company by New York’s attorney general, the News-Times reported. The properties are located at 26 and 28 Beachside Avenue.
According to the News-Times, neither properties were Weinstein's primary home, however the film producer had held fundraisers on them for both Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama. Weinstein originally purchased the 26 Beachside Avenue property with his first wife, Eve Chilton, in 1994, and the other in 2000.
