Haskell, Thomas Host 'Get Out The Vote' Event Postponed: UPDATE

Election Day may not be until November 3rd, but absentee voting has begun! It has never been more important to exercise your right to vote - and to be able to do it safely and securely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Thomas and Haskell campaigns invite you to join us for Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Weekend on Saturday, October 10th, and Sunday, October 11th from 12 pm to 3 pm each day in Wilton. We will be canvassing and making calls to Wilton and Westport voters in the 143rd District for Stephanie Thomas and Senator Will Haskell. Both campaign teams encourage everyone to join us to help get out the vote for this historic election.

“Voter access is the first step in ensuring that our democracy reflects the wants and needs of its citizens. I encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote in this year’s election - and to vote for candidates that will ensure you can continue to exercise that right freely, easily, and safely in elections to come,” said Thomas. “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many voters this year will be voting absentee and it’s extremely important to ensure that they follow instructions properly so that their vote is counted and voice is heard.”
