Helen Ann DeMaiorebus, 82, Of Westport

WESTPORT, CT — Helen Ann DeMaiorebus, 82, of Westport, passed away on Aug. 8, according to her obituary from Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Directors.

DeMaiorebus was born Helen Knopp in Brooklyn, New York, and was the wife of Joseph DeMaiorebus, and mother of Wendy Pieper and Cindy Wallace.

A member of the Westport Beautification Committee, DeMaiorebus was also active in local politics, according to her obituary.

The family is planning a private burial.
