I-95 Exit Closure Announced In Westport
Local officials shared news of the work, which will continue through Thursday, Dec. 1.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announced a scheduled closure that will affect Westport commuters.

The I-95 southbound on-ramp and off-ramp at Exit 17 in Westport and I-95 southbound on-ramp at Exit 16 will be closed.
The on-ramp to I-95 southbound at Exit 17 will be closed and detour will be in place on Monday, November 28 and Tuesday, November 29 and the Exit 17 off-ramp from I-95 southbound will be closed and detour will be in place on Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1 to facilitate the installation of conduits necessary for the Incident Management System.

If initial work is completed in a single night, the Exit 17 on- and off-ramps will only be closed on Monday, November 28 and Tuesday, November 29.
The on-ramp to I-95 southbound at Exit 16 in Norwalk will be closed and a detour will be in place on Monday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 6. There will be alternating one way traffic on East Avenue on December 7, 8 and 9 in Norwalk. These closures are also necessary for the installation of conduit for the Incident Management System.
