Iannuzzi honored for two decades of oncology leadership

Christopher Iannuzzi, MD, chief of oncology at St. Vincent's Medical Center, has been named a Doctors of Distinction honoree in the Total Wellness category by the Westfair Business Journal.

The award recognizes physicians who have made exceptional contributions to clinical care, medical leadership and community health.

Dr. Iannuzzi received the honor at a ceremony held May 20, in White Plains, NY.

For more than two decades at St. Vincent's, Dr. Iannuzzi has expanded specialized oncology services, advanced clinical trial access and helped grow the regional cancer care footprint. At the Hartford HealthCare Fairfield Cancer Center, he has been instrumental in bringing technologies such as the Varian Ethos adaptive radiation system closer to patients in Stratford and Fairfield County.

The Doctors of Distinction awards are presented annually by the Westfair Business Journal to recognize standout physicians across the region.
