It's 'No-Shave November' for Westport Police Officers
This is the second year members of the department are participating in the awareness effort about the fight against cancer.

WESTPORT, CT — Several members of the Westport Police Force are taking part in “No Shave November,” a web-based, non-profit organization devoted to growing awareness about the continued fight against cancer.
“Last year we were able to raise approximately $4,200.00 dollars for cancer research,” said Westport Police Officer Brendan Fearon, president of the local Police Benevolent Association, in a statement.
In addition to donating to No-Shave November, the Westport officers also will be donating to Homes with Hope, the Westport-based organization dedicated to helping the homeless locally.
