Jeweler Among 75 New Businesses Registered In Westport In August

WESTPORT, CT — Westport recorded 75 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Software and IT firms led the way with six filings, followed by residential landlords and management consultants.

Among the new arrivals were Kami Jewels, a jewelry business, Kneads Greenwich, a bakery and Table 11 Hospitality, a full-service restaurant. All but eight organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were seven corporations and one other entity.

Registering with the state doesn't necessarily mean a business has opened its doors — the paperwork can come well before or after a launch. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
