Judge: Westport Couple Must Pay for Keeping Staging Furniture

Staging furniture is used to show-off a home for sale in the finest light. One couple loved it so much that they kept it.

The right staging furniture can help a realtor seal the deal on selling prospective buyers the home of their dreams. One Westport couple that was selling their home apparently liked it so much they decided to keep it.

A judge ordered George and Joan Frank to pay $545,000 for keeping furniture, according to the Connecticut Post.

A company that staged the luxury $3.7 million home sued after the Franks didn’t return the furniture. They had paid to rent it for four months and didn’t return it after selling the home.
