Kindergarten Registration For Westport Public Schools Underway

WESTPORT, CT — Kindergarten registration for 2022-2023 is underway for Westport Public Schools, and parents and guardians are urged to register their child now.

According to a news release, residents with children who turn five on or before Jan. 1, 2023, are encouraged to register their child as soon as possible, as registering now allows the district to optimally plan for new kindergarteners.

All registration information is located on the district website under the Kindergarten Registration link.

Guardians are invited to attend a virtual informational meeting about kindergarten in Westport on March 16. Families can access this Zoom webinar through a link for which the district will send out at a later date.

Orientation sessions will be held in May, during which parents and guardians will have an opportunity to hear more details about kindergarten from teachers and other staff members. A school specific invitation will be sent to all registered kindergarten families.
