Last Day Of School In Westport June 22: Superintendent Scarice

WESTPORT, CT — The official last day of school for Westport Public School District students this year will be June 22, Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice announced Wednesday.

The date takes into account the district's snow days this year, which totaled four, as of February 9.

June 22 will be an early dismissal day, and graduation for the Staples High School Class of 2022 will be June 16 with a rain date of June 17. The event is scheduled to be outdoors.

"Recent legislation at the state level permits districts to name a graduation date in advance, and stick to that date regardless of snow days," Scarice wrote in an email to parents.
