
WESTPORT, CT — Weekday lifeguard service at Westport's Burying Hill Beach will end effective Monday, Aug. 15, according to the town's Parks and Recreation Department.
Lifeguards still will be on duty Saturdays and Sundays only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September 5, officials said in a statement.
Compo Beach will continue to have lifeguards on-duty on a daily basis through September 5, and beach emblems will remain required through September 30.
