Live From Lincoln Center Executive Producer Andrew Wilk Will Speak at Y's Men

Andrew C. Wilk, Executive Producer of Live from Lincoln Center, will be the Y’s Men of Westport/Weston’s featured speaker at its February 12 meeting at the Unitarian Church in Westport at 10 Lyons Plains Road.

He will talk about his career in production and direction of broadcast entertainment, one that has earned him four Emmy Awards, and about his current activities for Live from Lincoln Center, the long-running Emmy Award-winning series on PBS. Coffee and donuts start at 9:45 AM; Mr. Wilk’s talk at 10:30 AM.

A graduate of the Tisch New York University School of the Arts, Mr. Wilk was EVP of Programming and Production with National Geographic Television and Film and the National Geographic Channel, where he won four personal Emmy Awards and oversaw the production of programs that received many more.

At Live from Lincoln Center, he oversees presentations of some of the world’s greatest performers from that behemoth of an arts complex that includes the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, Lincoln Center Theatre and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

The Y’s Men of Westport/Weston is an organization of semi-retired and retired men with a continued interest in activity, fellowship, learning and community service.
