COVID-19 masks did not mute the celebration of Longshore Women’s Golf Association 60th Anniversary Club Championship, as the socially-distancing group enthusiastically applauded the winners and runner-ups after round two of the two-day stroke play tournament on Tuesday, August 25.

A familiar name will be engraved again on the Club Champion trophy, as Jo Rasmussen, past champion in 2008, 2010, and 2012, carded a 158 for the lowest total in a field of 52 competitors. Kim Smith finished 7 strokes behind with a very respectable 165 gross score.

Rasmussen herself has been a gross score runner-up in 2009, 2015 and 2016.
