Longtime Staples Lacrosse Coach Steps Down: Report
A longtime Staples High School lacrosse coach has stepped down over potential interference from an incoming group of parents.

WESTPORT, CT — Longtime Staples High School lacrosse coach Paul McNulty, 72, is stepping down from his position over potential interference from an incoming group of parents, the Norwalk Hour reported. He has coached at the school for 10 years, and recently finished his 50th year coaching high school sports.
According to the Hour, McNulty recently stepped down from his position as boys varsity lacrosse coach after being told a group of parents with a goal of regime changes in the department would be coming into the school soon. McNulty said he decided to avoid the fight altogether rather than engage in any conflict.
