The Oct. 13 attack did not appear to be random.

WESTPORT, CT — A 51-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on a warrant this week in connection with an Oct. 13 assault on a woman inside an unnamed Westport business, according to police.
The victim was struck in the face multiple times during the altercation, which occurred just before 2 p.m. Westport police did not say whether the woman required medical treatment following the attack, but she did suffer facial injuries.
"The victim reported that Robert Bush had come to her place of employment demanding money from her and asking to speak with her in the rear of the business," wrote police in a statement. "When she complied with his request to talk, a verbal altercation ensued. This argument escalated to the point that the victim reported attempting to call police from her cell phone. She alleged that Bush upon seeing this had taken the phone away from her and struck her in the face multiple times before fleeing the area in a vehicle."
