Medicare Open Enrollment In Westport Oct. 15-Dec. 7

Director of Human Services Elaine Daignault reminds Medicare eligible residents that the Medicare Open Enrollment Period begins October 15, 2020 and runs through December 7, 2020. During this timeframe, beneficiaries can change their Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage for the following year to better meet their needs.

CHOICES volunteer counselors, trained through the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging, will be available by appointment only to assist Westport residents in navigating their Medicare options. Contact Kristen Witt, LCSW, in the Department of Human Services at 203-341-1067 or the Westport Center for Senior Activities at 203-341-5099 weekdays (Mondays through Fridays) between 8:30am-4:30pm to make a virtual appointment with a CHOICES counselor.
