Some students complained that the test came at a difficult time between AP and SAT tests.

More than 200 students opted out of taking the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium test at Staples High School in Westport.
Some students and parents said that the test comes at a time where many students are taking advanced placement or SAT tests, according to News 12.
The test is aligned to Common Core State Standards. For 11th graders it is tested between April 27 and June 22, according to the Connecticut State Department of Education.
