New Assistant Principal Named At Staples High School In Westport
He is replacing Dr. Parthena "Penny" Proskinitopoulos, who was recently named principal at Coleytown Middle School.
WESTPORT, CT — Micah Lawrence, who has worked at Staples High School in the past, has been named an Assistant Principal at the school, replacing Dr. Parthena "Penny" Proskinitopoulos, Schools Superintendent Thomas Scarice announced.
Proskinitopoulos was recently named Principal at Coleytown Middle School, which created the opening for Lawrence.
"Mr. Lawrence requested this opportunity to take on a new professional challenge," Scarice wrote in a message this week to parents. "I fully support Mr. Lawrence’s desire to grow and honored his request."

Most recently, Lawrence was an Assistant Principal at Coleytown Middle School, and in his previous stint at Staples, he served as a counselor and administrator.
