New 'Boutique' Hotel Eyed For Former Westport Inn Site
The vacant Post Road East site reportedly could become the Delamar Hotel Westport.

WESTPORT, CT — The vacant former Westport Inn could become the Delamar Hotel Westport under a new proposal before the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission, reported the Westport News.
Plans call for the demolition of the front building at the 1580 Post Road East property, a three-story addition to be built on the rear building, space for events, a bar and restaurant, and a total of 85 rooms.
The town's Architectural Review Board has already approved the concept last week, which was changed from a plan that called for 10 residential units and 41 hotel rooms.
