New Pottery Barn In Westport Set To Open This Month

WESTPORT, CT — The new Pottery Barn store in Westport, which has been under construction for the past several months, is slated to open on June 16, a company spokesperson told Patch on Monday.

Located at 620 Post Road East, the new 15,000-square-foot home furnishings store replaces a Pottery Barn that recently closed on Main Street in Westport.

The store will host a grand opening party from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the night before, where "guests can enjoy light bites and drinks while exploring the new store and browsing Pottery Barn’s latest collections."

"Additionally, we wanted to let you know that beginning this summer, the brand's expert Design Crew team members at every Pottery Barn store location will host monthly 'How To' classes, focusing on different decorating topics each session — ranging from summer lighting, to styling a living room, to setting a table," the spokesperson said. "Led by Pottery Barn's elite interior design associates, the classes offer Pottery Barn customers the opportunity to learn design tips and tricks and engage in-person with both experts and their communities of interior decorating enthusiasts."

The monthly decorating classes will take place at 9 a.m.; below are three upcoming classes this summer:

• June 17, 2023: How to create a summer glow indoors and out — using lanterns, string lights, and pillar candles

• July 15, 2023: How to decorate with color to brighten a room in the shades of the season using pillows, botanicals and table linens
• August 12, 2023: How to style the living room — tips for coffee table and console decor styling, and creating the perfect sofa pillowscape
