Of hi'Amba, Taibe writes, "By day it works like a café should — good coffee, hummus made fresh throughout the day, mezze to nosh on. After 4pm the oven takes over: harissa roast chicken, kebabs off the griddle, wood-roasted fish, and a spritzer to go with it.
"No white tablecloths, no fuss. Come in for ten minutes or stay for the evening."
This week, hi'Amba will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sunday. Visit the website for more information.
