Night Paving of Route 57 in Westport Next Week

The length of repaving over the two nights will be 1.21 miles.

Westport, CT - The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be paving 1.21 miles of Route 57 in Westport for two nights next week, beginning July 11, according to town officials.

The paving will run from Route 33 (Wilton Road) and end at the overlap at Route 136 (Main Street). Crews will begin work the night of July 11, continue the night of July 12, and end on the morning of July 13.

The area currently under construction at North Compo Road, Route 57 and Clinton Avenue is not included in the project.

"Adjustments to the proposed schedule will be necessary in the event of inclement weather," officials said in a statement. "Residents are urged to use caution, seek alternate routes and allow for additional travel time."
