Night Repair Work Scheduled For Route 136 Bridge In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Bridge 1349 Route 136 (Bridge Street) in Westport.

The project consists of mechanical repairs to the Route 136, Bridge # 1349 (Saugatuck Swing Bridge/Cribari Bridge) in Westport. The night schedule for this project is 7:30pm to 5:30am (Monday into Tuesday) on March 18 - 19, 2024.

This work will be performed by Mohawk Inc.

Motorists can follow the Detour Route as follows: Eastbound traffic – Route 136 to Route 33 (Riverside Ave) to Route 1 (Post Road) to Route 136 (South Compo Road). Westbound traffic – Route 136 to Route 1 (Post Road) to Route 33 (Riverside Ave) to Route 136. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
