Eugene Gans PhD, age 93 of Westport, CT, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Norwalk
Hospital.

Gene was born in New York, NY to the late Harry and Sophia Gans. Gene loved his career and
his colleagues in R&D at Hoffman-LaRoche, Richardson-Vicks and Medicis.

Gene is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Roslyn Gans, his devoted daughter Lois Gans
Kemp, son-in-law Lee, grandson Steven Kemp and wonderful family and friends. He was
predeceased by his son Steven Gans, daughter-in-law Linda.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Abraham L. Green
and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Rd, Fairfield, CT, with interment following at Mount Hope
Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Shiva will be observed at the Gans
