Evangelo P. Tsurdinis, 80, of Westport, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023 with his devoted wife Eleanor by his side. He was born in Patras, Greece to the late Pagniotis and Kula Tsurdinis. He served honorably in the Hellenic Air Force.
After earning two master's degrees at Columbia University, Evangelo became a prominent electrical engineer and owner of ET Consultants, based in New York City. Highlights of his career included the lighting redesign of the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler Building and the
Empire State Building.

Evangelo loved spending his free time swimming at Burying Hill beach and tending to his garden plot at the Westport Community Garden.
In addition to his wife, Evangelo is survived by his loving daughters Alex and Christina, his sister, Neni Stathopoulos and his grandson, Theo.
