Geraldine Rose Johnson, 95, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Westport, CT, died on April 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Victor Johnson.

Born in Yonkers, NY, on December 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Lillian Barker.

Geraldine is survived by her five children: David Johnson of Waterbury, CT, Robyn Johnson (Gracie) of Milford, CT, Donald Johnson (Susan) of Holiday, FL, Daniel Johnson (Karen) of Charlotte, NC, and Kristen Johnson (Clyde) of Charlotte, NC, seven grandchildren: Teilor Good, DJ Johnson, Katherine Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Saundra Johnson, Shannon Mazelsky, and Christina Johnson, two great grandchildren: Alex and Jane Johnson. She is also survived by her brother George Barker (Patricia) of Seminole, FL, and her sister-in-law Carmen Tinaro.

In addition to her husband Victor, Geraldine was predeceased by her daughter Alene Johnson Good and her brother Philip Kapinsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at The Church of The Assumption, 98 Riverside Avenue, Westport, CT. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Greens Farms Road, Westport, CT.
