Lewis Goldman, 93, of Westport, Connecticut, passed away on May 9th at his home.

Lew was born in Brooklyn, New York to Morris Goldman and Rose Lautman. He graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in Bronx, New York and went on to earn degrees from City College of New York and Brooklyn Law School. He honorably served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a sweet, brilliant man, with a wicked sense of humor and a deep passion for learning.

Lew is survived by his wife, Hedda Goldman, of Westport, Connecticut; his two daughters (Melissa
Goldman of New York, New York, and Amy Goldman of Novato, California); his son and daughter-in-law (David Goldman and Margo Freedman of Santa Monica, California); and his three grandchildren (Morgan Chapman, Andrew Goldman, and Alexa Goldman).

A private burial took place at Temple Israel Cemetery.
