Obituary: Sandra 'Sandy' Hall, 83, Of Westport

Sandra "Sandy" Hall, 83, of Westport, CT, passed away on November 28, 2023. Born and raised in Allentown, PA, Sandy dedicated her life to nursing, leaving an indelible mark on those she cared for.

Sandy's journey in healthcare led her to a fulfilling partnership with her husband, Jerry Greenburg, at a Gastroenterology/Family Medicine practice in Westport, CT. Their shared passion for healing created a legacy of compassion and service.

A devoted mother, Sandy raised two daughters with her first husband, Roger. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession, shaping the lives of Pamela and Sharon. Sandy's love knew no bounds, evident in the tight-knit family she built.

She is survived by her husband Jerry, daughters Sharon and Pamela, son-in-law Jay, daughter-in-law Angel, and cherished grandchildren Thomas (and his wife Francesca) and Joe (and his wife Heather) and their children. She is also survived by Jerry’s children, David, Michael,and Jennifer, along with their children.

Sandy's warmth, dedication, and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation in her memory.

Viewing hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on December 7, 2023, at the Spear Miller Funeral Home 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield, CT. A Memorial service to celebrate Sandy's life will be held at 10:00 am on December 8, 2023, at the Funeral Home. She will lay in rest at the Willowbrook Cemetery in Westport, CT. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared throughout her remarkable life.
