Overnight Roadwork To Cause Delays In Westport: PD

WESTPORT, CT — Beginning Monday, construction work will be conducted on Riverside Avenue between Bridge Street and Saugatuck Avenue/Treadwell Avenue. Work will take place through Wednesday between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Dependent on how quickly the work progresses, this overnight work schedule may be extended into Thursday or Friday, according to a press release.

"This area will remain open to through traffic, however motorists should expect traffic delays during working hours and are asked to exercise caution while traveling through the work zone,"

Lieutenant Anthony Prezioso said in a release.
