Patriot Bank Opens New Branch Location in Westport

Stamford-Based Patriot Bank, N.A celebrated the opening of its new Westport branch location while presenting a $1,000 check to the Westport Sunrise Rotary 21st Century Foundation.

The new branch location, at 415 East Post Rd., will also offer one of Patriot’s advanced Live Banker ATM machines, which extend the banking day for customers beyond traditional hours by allowing live interaction with local Patriot bankers via video terminals.

Users of the Live Banker ATMs can open new accounts, apply for loans and banking products, make payments, get financial product advice, and much more. Patriot is the only community bank in the region to offer this advanced technology.

Dignitaries at the branch dedication also had the opportunity to interact with the new technology, and speak to a Live Banker on the screen.

For 20 years, Patriot has maintained a local branch directly across the Post Road. “We are excited for this new location in Westport,” said Patriot Bank Westport Branch Manager and Vice President Frankie Lee Smith. “We have an incredible banking team serving the many Westport area consumers, businesses, and non-profits who bank with us.”

“This is a beautiful new branch and the new Interactive Teller is an exciting addition,” said President of Westport Sunrise Rotary Ron Holtz.

In 2017 Patriot Bank has achieved and surpassed many banking milestones. Deposits continue to rise and are now up 28% year-over-year with loans growing 27% from one year earlier.
