PD: Contractor Took Pay Without Working in Westport
The man took $5,000 up front, but never did any work, police said.

An East Haven man turned himself in after police alleged that he took money for a contracting job that he didn’t complete.
Noah Cifarelli, 58, was charged with third-degree larceny, failure to refund and other criminal charges, according to the Connecticut Post.
The complainant hired Ct Windows and Sunrooms LLC in December 2014 to do pool roof work, police said. He paid $5,000 up front, but the job hadn’t been completed as of September 2015 when the arrest warrant was issued.
